Personal Care

This service is available to anyone who is elderly and/or disabled. Sometimes the challenges of everyday life can turn into impossible tasks. Activities such as cleaning, doing laundry, preparing meals, taking a bath, getting dressed, and brushing teeth can become difficult to perform to the point that independent living can become impossible. Consequently, nursing facilities may become the only option. However, there is a choice. Integrity Home Care can help one avoid nursing home placement. Depending on an individual’s needs, our agency can provide trained personal care aids that will assist with personal care and daily activities allowing the individual to live in the comforts of his or her home.

Respite Care

This service is available to a caregiver who takes care of a disabled loved one around the clock. Such intensive care can become a burden and place the caregiver under a lot of stress. Respite care service offers relief to the caregiver for a few hours a day. Depending on the needs of a disabled individual, Integrity Home Care can provide a trained personal aid and/or skilled medical worker such as RN or LPN. The primary caregiver can take a break while his/her disabled loved one is under professional care.

Department of Medical Assistance Services (Medicaid) pays Integrity Home Care to provide Personal/Respite care to Medicaid eligible recipients. Individuals not eligible for Medicaid may receive Personal/Respite services as private clients.

To find out how to apply for these services you can speak to your doctor, contact your local Department of Social Services or contact Integrity Home Care.
